For early stage founders who need a lil' support.
Supporting early-stage founders through crafting strategic action plans for growth with hands-on guidance and community collaboration, driving your startup's scale-up journey—clear, straightforward, and doubled down on what truly moves the needle.
The Factory is here to take you from where you’re at today to where you need to be. It's a hard journey to do alone.
In a world full of noise, constantly overflowing with the next “sure-thing” growth hack, the never ending temptation of shiny new platforms promising the world, the draw of the magic pill, and redundant echo of 'just one more networking event might make the difference' - f all that.
We're not here to sell you another dream wrapped in a webinar. We're here to challenge you, to build, to grow - in the things that matter, the things that give you staying power in today’s world. It’s about playing the long game, together. Doing cool stuff with cool people, and working towards actually moving the needle.
You’ve been told a thousand times over that the next book, the next course, or that personal brand pivot (for the 14th time) is what will finally do it. But deep down, as the night stretches thin and the ceiling offers up nothing but a blank stare back, you know the truth - it’s not enough.
It's never been about more information. It’s about transformation, about action, about proving your business isn’t just another fleeting idea. It’s about knowing what do to, and doing the work.
It’s about the hard math.
Do you have something that people actually want? Are they willing to pay for it? And can you repeat that process over and over again? Can you stand in the storm with the conviction that what you’re building is not just viable but necessary?
That's where we begin.
Key word here: begin.
The thing is, 'The Factory' isn’t just about the numbers.
Like in math, there’s typically more than one variable to solve for (unless you’re planning on playing at the 7th grade level).
But they can’t all be solved for at once. They must be worked through one at a time. The order dependent upon
It’s about you - the founder - as much as it is about your startup. It's about aligning the essence of who you are today and the actions you take with the person you’re being called into… the person you’re required to be.
This isn’t about adding to your already overflowing plate. You’re busy, as you should be, and there’s too much out there fighting for more of your time and attention.
This is about refinement, about distillation, about getting to the essence of what makes your business tick, and grow - and by extension, you.
Month 1: Day 1, we dive deep into your product or service, and model, against market demand through a thorough biz audit. The goal here is to “hunker down in the bat cave”, isolating and solving the variables of: Do you have a product or service that people want and are willing to pay for, and can you do it over and over again?
The foundation of everything we do is built off of how we are able to answer these questions.
We will build the roadmap off of this within the first week of onboarding, with the goal of solving for these variables as fast as possible.
This is the viability test - brutal but essential. We need the full picture in order to build out an effective strategy.
The deep personal stuff we’ll dive into month 2, but to lay the foundation and gather data, we will issue a fitness and sleep tracker (Whoop), some foundational baseline health and wellness principles, and some journal prompts that will bring awareness to all the personal development stuff we’ll dive into later.
The goal of month one is to get through the viability test, or at least be working through it, with a roadmap, solving for these variables.
Month 2: With your roadmap in hand, we dive deeper, shifting focus around YOU. This plays hand in hand with the strategy we’re developing on the business side, but adds robustness to the foundation.
Month 3: Where it all starts to come together. Where the magic happens. Your growth fuels your business; your business catalyzes further personal evolution. It’s a virtuous cycle, one that brings you towards who you must be.
Great question.
Joel and Brenden, the architects behind Uncommon Ventures and creators of The Factory.
Our journey consists of over a decade of hands-on experience in the heart of “startup innovation”. Lol.
The good, the bad, the ugly, and everything in between. (a whole lot of the ugly)
We’ve put the time in, we’ve slept in the trenches, we’ve failed, gotten up, failed again, and rose to the top, reshaping the trajectories of various startups from the ground up.
In other words, we’ve done the shitty work we’re trying to save you from.
As both early employees and outside consultants, we've been instrumental in scaling operations, building resilient teams, curating strategies, and securing over $20 million in startup capital.
Through this journey, the wild ride of ups and downs, we’ve accumulated our knowledge and experience through recognizing and avoiding the pitfalls that capture so many 'common' founders today.
The truth is, we’ve learned a whole lot by learning how NOT to do things.
Not that it really matters, but our portfolio spans across a variety of industries, from health and wellness to enterprise AI, from media and entertainment to Martech SaaS.
We've seen firsthand what works, what doesn't, and most importantly, why.
We bring to the table not just our successes, but our learnings from each venture. It's these insights that fuel The Factory.
Here, we distill the wisdom of over a decade of trench warfare (lol), of seeing founders fail alongside us, of sitting in the rooms, the pitches, the conferences, watching the firing squads do their thing, observing market shifts and the downwind effects, seeing minds break, bodies break, families fall apart, the collective wisdom gained into actionable strategies and transformative practices that you get to take action against, specifically made for those who are ambitious enough to step in.

Advisors? Yeah, we practice what we preach haha. We realize we can’t do this solo. We bring the right people together for the right projects at the right time. Just like we are coming alongside your journey, we’ve developed a team of advisors ahead of us in the journey to help us help you avoid hurdles and prepare for every stage of your founder journey.
And partners? If we can’t find the answer, we WILL know someone who can. We’ve pulled in people who are experts at their craft and partnered with them to give you guys the support needed.

We want to position this as a gateway to a life where your business success, personal growth, fulfillment, and biological state are not mutually exclusive but harmoniously interwoven. It's your chance to stop “chasing” success, and start living it in every aspect of your life.
The path is pretty simple. Here’s how to hop in:
Don’t put this decision off. It's a call to those ready to leap, to those who refuse to let indecision be the thief of opportunity. If you know what you need to do, and you delay the action taken against that, you’re telling the world around you you aren’t ready. And I think you know what happens then. Prove you’re ready by making the choice that shows the level of deservedness required to get what you want.
